I thought the movie was amazing. I saw it first as a kid and I recently picked this up at the second hand book shop. I heard it was a good read. Steven Spielberg's vision absolutely lends itself and this reads like his movie. It's easy to picture and gets your heart rate up. And the book provides way more justification for everything to happen. Ugh, and the preface on bioengineering feels like the same thing we are experiencing with AI today 😐
